  • ACCESSORY GEARBOX-GT Application

  • The Accessory Gear units of this type are specially designed for compact turbo-alternator units with the following functions:
    • To drive the "Turbine auxiliaries" at appropriate speeds
      • Atomizing Air compressor
      • High pressure Hydraulic Pump
      • Fuel Pump
      • Main Oil Pump
    • To drive the turbine through its starting device in the starting process.
    • They are equipped with an integral Main Oil Pump.

  • LOAD GEARBOX-GTG APPLICATION
  • The Load Gear units are speed reducers between Gas Turbine and Generator.
    The Main components of gearbox are as below
    Gearbox housing: Gray iron casting/ MS fabricated type
    Gear Set: Single /Double Helical gears
    Radial Bearings: Hydrodynamic( Offset halve, Four lobe, two lobe and Cylindrical type)
    Thrust Bearings: Taper land type & Tilting pad type
    Oil Deflector
    Instrumentation system (Thermometers, Thermocouples, RTDs, vibration sensors)

  • Function: Speed reducer between Electric Motor and Fan of Air cooled condenser.
